Allen Public Library's 2020 Veterans Day Celebration had interviews with Chet Rohm , WWII Veteran and Rolly Cannon, Vietnam Veteran and VCONT Volunteer.  The Veterans Center of North Texas was foundational in securing the speakers.

On November 14, 2020, 25-30 members of the Frisco High School Kiwanis Key Club conducted a food and clothing drive for the Veterans Center of North Texas.  Key Club Vice President, Kayley Nebeker, organized this drive, the second one this year for VCONT.  Many thanks to Kayley and the Key Club for their support to North Texas veterans

Collin County Veterans Coalition Flags of Honor meeting held on Veterans Day, 2020

On Monday, 9 November members of the Veteran Community met at the Collin County Russell A. Steindam Courts Building to induct a portrait of Colonel/Congressman Sam Johnson into the Fallen Warrior Portrait Project.  Members of the Sam Johnson family we in place to receive the portrait.  The portrait and accompanying plaque were formally inducted into the Fallen Warrior Project through unanimous decision by Collin County Judge Chris Hill and the County Commissioners.
